Conference rooms
Comma-separated room names for the participant home page. At least one room is required.
A4 tent card printouts
A4 landscape tent: empty panel, WiFi or room, room, then fold tab. Content is rotated for assembly. Configure WiFi and help URL in Settings first.
WiFi
When enabled, printouts include a WiFi panel. When disabled, both sides show the help desk QR only.
Help desk URL
Public base URL for support QR codes (e.g.
https://help.events.canonical.com/location). Room slug is
appended. Leave empty to use this server’s URL.
Telegram notifications
Participant messages are sent to this bot chat. Create a bot via
BotFather, then use
getUpdates to find your chat ID.

Backup & restore
All help desk data (rooms, WiFi, hours, Telegram, conversations, and messages)
is stored in data/helpdesk.json. Export a snapshot for backup or
migration; import to restore on another machine.
Help desk hours
Limit when participants can start new chats. Leave dates empty for no date limit; leave times empty for 24-hour access on open days. Dates and times use the timezone below.
